An Alternative Burns Night
SUNDAY 26 JANUARY 2025
at Mono
2025 marked the fifth edition of An Alternative Burns Night and a return to the stage at the iconic Glasgow venue Mono – Café Bar.
The event raised over an amazing amount of £2,050 (almost doubling the previous year), with all proceeds going directly to Indepen-dance, an inclusive dance company for disabled and non-disabled people.
This year’s event was made possible thanks to the generous support and sponsorship of The Craft Pottery. An accompanying exhibition titled “Artists of The Craft Pottery” featured a display of work created by members of their staff team - artists, makers, and crafters. The Craft Pottery has a strong community and team who support creativity in the city, and this was a chance to showcase some of their work and what they create.
